a celebratory performance
In a caravan on the schoolyard Frl. Wunder AG welcomed guests. Whoever was brave enough to go inside, was confronted with many questions: Has anyone from your family ever lived somewhere else? Who moved when and from where to where and why? Are there any particular parties, traditions, or objects that are passed down in your family? In every family sometime, somewhere, someone moved. The best thing that human societies all over the world have in common is celebration. 15 pupils have shared their stories, dances, and rituals of parties, family, and heritage and concluded: „I come from a place that I have reconstructed out of stories that my parents told me.“ In the end the entire school was invited to celebrate with them.
