Danger zone agora! The stage is considered one of the safest places in the world, just as it’s audience room. However, discovering the “activated” audience the democratic promise of participation does not only release some sort of tickle of the unforeseen but also fear and terror caused by the “threat of taking part”. In the form of lecture and reenactment Frl. Wunder AG present their „Best of Album“ of the most beautiful and most oppressive moments of participation from theatre, arts, and social performance. They transform the stage area of Kaegi’s production „Sicherheits-Konferenz“ (safety conference) into a gambling room and provide for a game session with the audience.
Valie Export’s Tapp, and touch cinema, the scandal about the FAZ critic Stadelmaier, and actor Lawinki, or Marina Abramovic’s action “Rhythm 0” are brought back to life at the gambling table. Both the audience and the actors sound out their willingness to participate, self-sacrifice and instrumentalize, to disclose intimacy and practise voyeurism.
