They curl up on our couches, strut through the woods and wait in thousands for their trip to the slaughter house. We cook soap out of them, stuff their livers and pin their fur to the wall- our love for animals is often gut related. That’s why Frl. Wunder AG prepared an exclusive dinner for their guests. Course by course they discover the relationship of human and animal. They hunt, take the position of activists and farmers and search for the animal within them.
This is about the beauty of difference and what brings us together: The will to survive, movement, and societal order. The dinner evening turns into a utopian encounter and challenges us: What do have to offer to animals who clothe and feed us? Do we share our cities and give them democratic rights? Or do we have to stay consequent and become a banquet for animals?
