(I can’t get no) SATISFACTION
A theatrical roadmovie
„Who teaches us ecstasy?“ Frl. Wunder AG went on the quest to answer this question on a road trip through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With curiosity and a willingness to take risks the performers and their camera man leaned into different ecstatic scenarios. They relied on different ‚guides‘ to lead them into ecstasy: They took part in a worshipping ceremony, secret hotel room orgies and an expedition into deep ecstasy. But were these ecstatic moments of waste and limitlessness?
On stage the performers reminisce on their journey and look out for nothing less but that „perfect moment“, the ultimate ecstasy guide. The authenticity of that experience is pimped with fake and fiction. Interviews with experts melt into personal experiences on the road trip. It`s ecstasy as a cocktail of myths, fake, adrenaline, imagination and self experience.
