Power of Pussy
The never-ending history of feminism
In 1968 Sigrid Rügers legendary tomato throw triggered the second wave of feminism. Frl. Wunder AG wonders how far that tomato actually went. In Power of Pussy they reacap on the collective memory of the old and new F-Class. Through reenactments, lectures and interviews, they developed a subjective and partially weird history of feminism. How do we live, love and work in equality? How can I be a feminist as a man? Have pop and self irony brought feminism into mainstream or even help it advance? Which events of the women‘s movement have utopian potential to realise gender democracy? An evening of searching for the contemporary versions of femininity and masculinity- documentary, political and entertaining.
