A bike ride for the MS Dockville Festival
#1 MENTAL MAPS: At our headquarter we involve visitors of the festival into map making of the Wilhelmsburg area. We ask them what they remember: Custom houses, doner restaurants and high gloss buildings of iba and igs. We make blind spots visible.
#2 ON SITE RESEARCH: We look for the marked spots, where we suspect hotbeds for actionist wild growth. There we’ll defy the requirements of public spaces. Where does the use of urban space seem dictated by economy and societal codes- and where will we find leeway for interventions? Who defines what is acceptable in public spaces?
#3 ACTION AND BIKE RIDE: We plant instructions for interventions and document what happens. With QR codes we create a bike route for the visitors of the Kunstcamp and Dockville Festival. On this route they can discover action spots and become part of the intervention.
